Licensed in Texas and New York, Edwin Callender focuses his practice in the areas of business law, commercial transactions, real estate law, oil & gas, energy, and industrial law, estate and wealth planning, private placements, consumer law, immigration law, and employment law. Mr. Callender earned his JD (magna cum laude) from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, and was admitted to practice in Texas since 2011. During his final year in law school, Edwin was Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Judge Kenneth M. Hoyt (U.S. District Judge) and assisted the Court in resolving a variety of legal issues involving both federal and state law. Mr. Callender is a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas.

Prior to law school, Mr. Callender worked for more than fifteen years as an energy consultant, quantitative manager, and chemical engineer. Specifically, he held positions of increasing responsibility at major petrochemical-, refining-, natural gas-, and electric power- companies, and has good expertise in business strategy, commercial transactions, energy deal structuring and risk analysis, business planning, and business optimization. Mr. Callender has a unique combination of legal-, analytical-, and business- skills that informs his perspective of providing Quality Service to clients.
